MHS 2025 Rescue Me Calendar Contest
The 2025 “Rescue Me” Calendar will showcase heartwarming moments between Maui’s pets and firefighters or lifeguards. All photoshoots were held in West Maui and shot by award-winning photographer, Dana Edmunds, who volunteered his time and talent. Furry contestants (dogs, cats, one guinea pig, and one chicken) have homes, are available for adoption, or are in foster homes. Human contestants include members of the Hawaii Fire Fighters Association and Hawaii Government Employees Association.
Calendar Launch Party Fundraiser
Maui Humane Society is hosting a fundraising event with Maui’s firefighters and lifeguards for a special celebration of the 2025 “Rescue Me” Calendar!
🗓️ When: Wednesday, October 16 from 5-7 p.m.
📍 Where: Maui Brewing Co. – 605 Lipoa Pkwy, Kihei, HI 96753
🎉 What: Celebrate the launch of the calendar with signings by the firefighter and lifeguard models, pet adoptions, and delicious brews and pupus.
🎟️ Price: General Ticket – $60 Includes admission, pupus, and 2 drink tickets. VIP Ticket – $75 Includes admission, pupus, 2 drink tickets, *AND* a 2025 “Rescue Me” Calendar!
Calendars will be available for purchase or for pick up for those who have pre-ordered. Don’t miss out on this chance to be part of this memorable fundraiser that honors the resilience of pets and the bravery of our island’s heroes!

We are grateful for the chance to recognize the incredible work they do for the Maui community, and especially their heroic response to the Lahaina wildfires on August 8, 2023. All proceeds from this innovative and community-focused calendar will benefit Maui Humane Society (MHS).
