This kitty came into our care when a good Samaritan witnessed her getting struck by a car and brought her in for help. X-rays have revealed that Hope has a severely fractured leg and will need ongoing medical care.

Meet Senior Survivor Luscious
Luscious was found near the Pali tunnel in rough shape and was brought to MHS for help. He is waiting for much-needed surgery to take care of his eye and teeth and to remove some tumors to make him more comfortable.
Humane Enforcement Officer Shapiro Rescues a Kitten
MHS was alerted to the sound of a kitten meowing in a storm drain. Officers lowered a trap into the drain and checked back the following morning to find the kitten had been caught!

Maui Humane Society Supports Temporary Covid-19 Relief Shelters
Communities across Maui have faced significant impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic. This week, Maui County began construction on 20 pallet homes in Waiale Park in Wailuku to provide temporary emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families who have been displaced by Covid-19.
